Village Dog Resource: We are a small group of volunteers that have come together to help safely rehome pets in need. We help Families rehoming pets, adopters looking to find a pet, owners in need of guidance to keep their current pets, and education to the community to cut down on pets ending up in shelters. Our main goal is to make a long-lasting match between each dog and each family. We work with families to find the right dog to meet their needs and wants.
OWNERS NEEDING A NEW HOME FOR YOUR PET: Our process can always include you staying involved and being updated! Each dog we take in goes into a volunteer family home until adopted. We do not have a shelter or facility, rather all dogs live in a family setting. We also provide them with vaccines, vet care, spay/neuter and help them with their training. We do not charge you any fee to help you and your pet! If you’d prefer to handle the Rehoming yourself, please let us give you some free resources for your pets safety! We can provide you with an application to screen potential owners, low cost vetting locations and an adoption contract. All free and all geared to keep your pet safe!
ADOPTERS: We absolutely love to work with you to find the perfect dog. We are excellent at doggie match making and will stay very involved with you to get you the right dog. Our dogs are all living in family homes so we are better able to tell you about their training, behavior and personality. It is often hard to determine these things in a shelter or facility. We are able to provide you a great idea of each dogs energy level, tolerance of other animals and people and an overall picture of how they will be in your home. All adoptions come with a built-in week-long trial period at your home. We never want anyone keeping a dog “just because”, we aim for the perfect match. The goal is happy pets and happy owners. We keep Rehoming fees as low as possible and your adoption always includes us getting every dog vaccinated, microchipped and spayed or neutered. If you’re patient enough we can usually find you a rescue dog of almost any breed!
COMMUNITY: We aim to help our community’s pets with a wide variety of pet issues. The ultimate success is to work with a family to solve their issues from training, to housing conflicts and even medical issues so they can keep their pet. Our goal is to build up a village of volunteers, trainers, groomers, transporters, fosters etc to make real differences in helping pets in our area. WE WANT YOU INVOLVED!! With the goal of creating a village of support to help these dogs in our community.
