Chaise

This adorable little puppy is looking for a new home.

She got her name from her previous owner trying to auction her off to the highest bidder on Facebook live as if she were a piece of furniture Thankfully no one offered to buy her and we were able to take her into rescue so she can find a safe and stable home.

Chaise is a female and supposed to be 12 weeks old. She weighs 11 pounds. She will be spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccines as part of her adoption.

Her breed mix is a bit of a mystery. Her auctioneer said she was a lab/pit. The vet felt she’s more of a springer spaniel mix. She acts a bit like a Jack Russell. She’s definitely very small to be a lab/pit but we truly don’t know. She’s not growing super fast. She may stay smaller or grow to a larger size. Her adopter will have to be open to the potential unknown adult size.

Her foster describes her as a super playful, fun puppy with a hilarious personality. Lots of spunk in this little girl. Very loving and always happy to see you. Very outgoing and confident.

Chaise is a puppy and she is still learning. She rides great in the car and has not yet started leash training. She is learning crate training but can still be very vocal in the crate. She is still learning potty training. She doesn’t like to go outside without her people. She has already figured out how to use the doggie door so hopefully potty training will improve soon.

She is great with all people. She has been great with dogs of all sizes. She is not fostered with cats so we do not know how she would do. She is young and with proper training should be able to learn the rules with cats.

Chaise is good with kids but does do a lot of nipping on hands when playing. She has sharp little puppy teeth so take that into consideration if you have tiny kids. Nothing aggressive just typical puppy behavior.

She has had no trouble sharing food, treats or toys with other dogs or humans. She did wonderful for her bath and nail trim. She was also very good for the vet.

Chaise is a play hard then crash hard kinda puppy. She’s got a decent energy level but also couch cuddles when she’s tired. She will need daily play time and exercise to be happy and well behaved.

If you’re looking for a super sweet and playful puppy she might be the one. As long as you’re dedicated to exercise and training Chaise will be an amazing dog for your family.
