MEET DUGAN!!!
This puppy is such a good boy. It’s rare we get such a well behaved puppy. He is doing amazing with his training and is so sweet and loving. A great addition to most families.
Dugan is a 6 month old male. He weighs 19 pounds. (He looks so big in his photos but hes not) He is said to be a Golden and Poodle mix. We are not sure but we do know that “doodles” are NOT hypoallergenic as the hype would have you believe. With that said he does shed less than a normal dog.
He will be neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped as part of his adoption. He is thankfully heartworm negative. He was just groomed by our awesome groomer at Fluff and Buff! She made him look so handsome.
We have been so impressed with this guy. He is so happy and loving. He does great with all training and is very advanced for his age with it. He loves everyone and just is a joy to have around. He is also adorable as well!
Dugan does really well with other dogs. He’s fostered with both large and small dogs and does well with all of them. He wants to play with every dog he sees and behaves very well when playing. He has never been around cats so we are not sure how he would do. He is extremely loving and has done great with the kids he has met. He may be excited and accidentally knock over tiny kids but he has not been aggressive at all.
He is crate trained and goes in when asked. He’s been very quiet and well behaved when crated. He will sometimes get excited and start barking when he sees you coming to let him out. He does very well on the leash and has done great on car rides. He just goes to sleep for the ride. He’s great meeting people and has an outgoing and happy personality. He has also been perfect with his potty training. He found a rang the bells on the back door of his fosters house to go out on day one so he is really a smart boy.
Dugan does have a medium to high energy level. He loves to play and does need a good outlet for his energy several times a day. He needs both mental and physical exercise. Brain games, walks, fetch, games etc. He will play with people, toys, and dogs. Anything fun and he’s all for it. If he’s given a proper outlet for his daily energy he’s been good about relaxing when it’s time to calm down. He becomes very cuddly and relaxed inside when he has had proper exercise prior.
He has shown no issues sharing treats, toys or food with other dogs or people. He’s shown no aggression over anything. He’s just been happy happy happy.
Dugan is really a great puppy. With the right exercise and guidance from his new family he is going to be an amazing dog.
Overall this adorable guy is a great addition to almost any family. He’s an awesome and handsome boy!
