Jitter

MEET JITTER!!!

♦️♦️Please read the entire post!!! He’s adorable but he’s not a lap dog and needs a very active home. ♦️♦️

This guy is handsome and sweet. He’s a very active, fun and high energy little guy. He is ready for an active family to entertain him.

Jitter is a Male, 2 year old, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. He weighs 15 pounds and is full grown.

He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. He is Heartworm negative.

Jitter is a whole lot of dog in a small package. He is a social and happy guy. He loves everyone. He’s outgoing and down for any adventure. He’s great going to places like flea markets or breweries. He loves the attention.

He does very well with leash walking using a harness. He did great on car rides. He is also crate trained. He is mostly potty trained but has had a few morning accidents. He did very well with the vet.

Jitter is not fostered with kids but previously lived with kids age 6 and 9, and was said to do good with them. He can be an excited jumper. He’s also lived with cats but does a lot of chasing then. He never hurt them but your cats may not enjoy him much.

He generally does well with other dogs but he does like to be the boss. He’s small but overly confident and was bold enough to try to be the boss of a mastiff much larger than himself. Nothing to aggressive just a bossy guy. Other dogs may react negatively to him if they to think they are the boss. He’s fine meeting dogs in public etc it’s just his housemates he feels the need to be top dog with.

Jitter does have a very high energy level and needs a place to run and play all day. He does like to cuddle when he’s tired but is not at all a “lap dog”. He is on the go a lot and does a lot of moving around. He’s a lot of energy at times and likely will be lifelong. If you’re not prepared for a constantly energetic guy then he’s not the one for you. He definitely needs a fenced yard to run in.

If you don’t give him the energy release he needs he has issues behaving. He needs lots of physical energy but also mental stimulation such as games, walks, training sessions, and anything that gets his brain tired. Please understand that we are telling you up front that he’s a lot. Please don’t adopt him unless you truly can provide the right type of home for him. He doesn’t need to be bounced around from home to home.

He’s had no trouble sharing food, treats or toys with people. He can be snappy if another dog tries to take a bone or toy from him. He can happily sit beside other dogs and take treats but if he has something he does not want to share.

Jitter loves all toys and bones. He is always ready to play and be active. He has been a hole digger in the yard and does a lot of excited jumping.

He’s extremely smart and loving. He has so much potential in the right home. If you can meet his needs you’ll have a fun, loving and loyal companion.

Vet and home checks required.
Fenced yard required.

Located in Hampton VA.
(He will need to be adopted within a 2 hour drive radius)
