Meet Jordan!!
(Recently updated info)
This beautiful boy was recently saved from the streets of Puerto Rico and brought to the states to escape the earthquake destruction.
Jordan is a male, 2-4 year old yellow lab and golden retriever mix. He weighs approximately 45lbs.
He is up to date on vaccinations, neutered and microchipped.
Jordan has been great with other dogs. So far he has not been a fan of cats and would do best in a home with no cats.
He walks well on a leash despite minor pulling and rides well in a car. He is crate trained and has some basic house manners. We do not know how he would do left out in the home yet and recommend crating him when you cannot supervise him.
Jordan does not show any aggression with food or toys with either animals or people.
He has an active energy level and enjoys walks. His foster describes him as a big goofy dog that acts like a puppy.
He is still decompressing from his travels and previous life. He is very unsure of loud sounds/fast movements. He does not allow you to mess with his feet and does not like being picked up. He needs a patient family willing to take it slow with him so he feels comfortable. Due to this we want him to go to a home with older children (14 and up please)
Jordan is still learning potty training. He knows to go outside for regular potty needs but still tries to mark his territory inside. We don’t know what his life was like before but it appears he had it pretty rough. He needs a truly special adopter to love him and give him the time and understanding he needs to heal and learn.
Vet and home checks required.
