MEET KAI!!!!
This tiny little fluff ball is super sweet and very playful. Very social and loving guy.
Kai is an 11 month old Pomeranian. He currently weighs 7 pounds and is pretty much full grown. He is already neutered, microchipped and up to date on his vaccines. He is heartworm negative and on preventions.
This guy is a very fun little dog. He is happy and social. He is fine meeting new people and going on outings. He is a lot of personality in a small package.
Kai is good with other dogs. He can be a little defensive at first until he sees they wont hurt him. After that he can be a little annoying to other dogs that don’t want to play. He is a very dominant little thing and gets up in the faces of other dogs. He would do best with another playful and tolerant dog.
He has not been fostered with kids but has done amazing with all the ones he has met so far. He would likely do well with any kids that are old enough to not treat him like a toy.
He is crate trained and does very well with crating. He is not vocal when crated and has had no potty accidents in the kennel. He walks fairly well on a leash but has an odd quirk of wanting to walk only on his back legs at times. Its kinda cute but still odd. He has done great on all the car rides he has been on but he can be busy in the car. Its best to seatbelt or crate him so you are not distracted while driving.
Kai is mostly potty trained but he does still mark his territory inside a lot. He was neutered not to long ago so that may still be in the process of helping. He does best when let out frequently and not given free water if you’re not there to take him out often. He also has no problem wearing a belly band/ male diaper while he learns.
He is a fairly energetic guy. He will need a family willing to play with him and exercise him. He loves fetch, but doesn’t bring the toy back. He will happily run laps with it and thinks that is how the game works. He also loves to jump on and off the couch. He would love someone willing to have an active little dog to engage with.
He’s had no trouble sharing food, treats or toys with humans. He doesn’t always like to share things with other dogs. We feed him separately and that works well for him. He will be dominant with other dogs and toys. He is fine with people taking these things just not other dogs.
If you’re looking for a fun, adventurous and outgoing little dog then he is the one. A really cool dog with a happy outlook on life.
He will need to be brushed regularly so he does not get matted.
Vet and home checks required.
Located in Hampton VA.
(He will need to be adopted within a 2 hour drive radius)
