Meet Ladybug!!
Perfectly behaved dog that loves doing everything with you!
She was starved and dumped in the woods, her 8 puppies were left in a dresser drawer in the woods with her. Despite all of that she is fully of love and happiness.
Ladybug is a 1 year old, female, Basenji mix, she weighs approx 40 pounds.
She’s already spayed, microchipped and up to date on all shots.
Ladybug is the absolute sweetest dog! Despite being starved to skin and bones she allows us to mess with her food, take her treats etc. Shes shown no aggression even when I had to give IV fluids to her pups which wasn’t pleasant for the pups.
She’s a quiet dog, rarely barks, is kennel and leash trained and does well on car rides. She is potty trained and also does well off leash. She also likes to run with her foster but does fine with just leash walking if you’re not a runner.
Ladybug has been great with other dogs of all sizes, cats, and loves older kids. (She was afraid of screaming toddlers) She plays gently with smaller dogs and seems to love every person or animal she meets.
Very easy dog to have around. She’s been traveling with her foster mom to places like Nags Head. Foster mom says she goes everywhere with them and is absolutely perfectly behaved and loving socializing with all the new people she’s meeting.
