MEET NAMARI!!!
This adorable and sweet girl is ready for her new home. She was left at a shelter, terribly thin and pregnant. A result of the “doodle” trend of backyard breeders trying to make a quick buck 😫 Thankfully she’s here now and living her best life.
Namari is an approx 2 year old, Poodle mix. she weighs 29 Pounds. She is close to full grown but still regaining weight from being skinny. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. She is heartworm negative and on monthly preventions.
SHE IS NOT HYPOALLERGENIC. Simply mixing poodle with things does not do that as the doodle trend claims. With that said she does not shed much compared to a regular dog.
Namari is very affectionate and sweet. She has done really well with household behavior and loves everyone. She’s very chill and wants nothing more than to cuddle up with her humans. If all the dogs in the house are playing you’ll find her in your lap.
She has done really well with other dogs of all sizes. She likes them and doesn’t mind playing outside with them but she would be fine in a home without dogs. She’s all about people. She isn’t a fan of hyper dogs that get into her face so a calmer dog friend would be best. She is not fostered with cats so we are not sure how she would do.
Namari has not been fostered around children but we think she would do well. She just loves everyone. She is very sweet and gentle. As long as kids are respectful and don’t treat her like a toy we think she would do great.
She is perfect with her crate trained. She is also great on car rides. She is doing well with leash training. So far her potty training has been great as well. She’s been a very easy girl to have around.
So far she has a low to medium energy level. She loves to be outside and will do some playing with the other dogs. She also likes squeaky toys, but mostly she likes being a couch potato with you.
Namari has not had any issues sharing food, treats, or toys with people. She does not like it when other dogs come near her food and she will try to steal their food. This is likely a result of her not having consistent food in her life. She has not gone after another dog but it is still recommended that she eats separately from other pets just to be safe.
This girl is a real gem. Sweet, super cuddly and well behaved. She’s ready for a loyal forever family to give her the life she always deserved.
📌📌She will need regular grooming. This requires time to get her to and from the appointments and additional expenses to pay for it. On average a dog of this breed will need grooming every 6 weeks. This should be fully considered prior to applying to adopt her.
