Sadie is a great dog looking for a wonderful home!
Sadie is a 3 year old, female, Australian Cattledog mix, weighing approx. 70 pounds.
She is already spayed and microchipped. She will be updated on her vaccines prior to her adoption.
Sadie does well with cats and most dogs. She can be possessive over high value items. For this reason she would do best as the only dog or with an owner who understands seperating for food time and leaving high value items up.
She cannot live with rodents due to her prey drive, please take it into consideration when considering Sadie, she would either need a home with no small animal pets or ones appropriately and safely secured.
She is very playful and excited when meeting new people so she needs help with her manners. She enjoys playing ball, tug-o-war and playing in the water. She loves going on car rides and is working on her leash training.
Sadie is crate trained but can be left out in the home if all food is put up. She will take food off of counters, so while she works on her manners keeping food up and trash covered is best.
Sadie has lived with children, however she does not like having children climb on/over her. For this reason her owners feel she would do best in a home with older children that can be taught how to properly interact with a dog.
