MEET SUNI!!!
This puppy is the sweetest thing!! NOT a “doodle” so should be an actually hypoallergenic dog many are looking for. She is a fun loving and playful girl.
Suni is a 10-month-old, Standard Poodle. She currently weighs 44 pounds. Poodles are typically non shedding and hypoallergenic as “doodles” are not. If you want an awesome dog with those qualities then don’t miss out on her!
She will be spayed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped as part of her adoption. She is heartworm negative negative and on monthly preventions.
Right up front we want to tell you her worst behavior which is the reason she lost her home. Suni will tinkle when nervous. Mostly when you reach for her in a one on one situation. She doesn’t do it much when you reach for her and she is playing with another dog etc. She is getting better but this is something you need to understand about her so she isn’t losing another home over it. Aside from this she is a delightful puppy.
Suni has done amazing with other dogs of all sizes. She loves to play with them and chase them around. She is great about sharing toys and playing well. She has done so good with a wide variety of dogs including puppies, adults, and seniors. She just loves her doggie friends. We have not seen her around cats so we are unsure how she would do.
She has been great with all of the kids she has met. She loves them and does well with them. She really loves everyone and everything so far. A very happy girl.
Suni is doing pretty well with her house manners. She is great on car rides. She is doing well with leash training. She can get easily distracted on walks trying to explore but it’s manageable. As far as potty training aside from the above mentioned issue she does very well. She will sometimes get excited and tinkle in her crate but she understands the concept of going outside.
She loves to play with you and really enhoys to sit beside you and get all the pets. She will carry around her stuffed animals with such pride. She loves to play tug o war. She is just generally a happy, playful loving girl.
So far she has a higher energy level. She has a very energetic and busy side to her. She loves to go go go and play. Very spunky and active girl. She will need lots of mental and physical energy in her new home to keep her happy and well behaved. Poodles are typically higher energy dogs so plan to exercise each and every day more than once. She is very cuddly and loving as well but that is after all that energy is released.
Suni has not had any issues sharing food, treats, or toys with people or other animals. She listens very well and seems to be a smart girl.
Overall she is a really well rounded and wonderful puppy. She has a great personality and is very loving. She would make a great new addition to an active family willing to work with her nervous tinkles.
♦️♦️She will need regular grooming. This requires time to get her to and from the appointments and additional expenses to pay for it. On average a dog of this breed will need grooming every 6 weeks. This should be fully considered prior to applying to adopt her.♦️♦️
