Tilla

MEET TILLA!!!!
This beautiful girl adores kids and is a very sweet and fun dog. She loves the beach and water.

Tilia is a female lab/shepherd mix and just turned 2 years old. She weighs 74 pounds.

She will be spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines as part of her adoption. She is on heartworm and flea preventions.

Tilia is a very sweet girl and extremely affectionate. She loves her people and wants to follow you everywhere. She has all the energy to play and run around with you or other dogs but also loves to cuddle up with you on the couch and relax after playtime.

She is perfect with her potty training. She transitioned to her foster home and did not have any accidents even with a schedule transition. She will get vocal and let you know if she needs to go.

Tilia is really good on car rides. She is also crate trained but will be vocal if she’s crated and can hear you in the house. She just wants to be out with you. She’s fine when you’re gone or at bedtime. She’s also been good left out in the house without destroying anything. She has not had any trouble sharing food, treats or toys with humans but doesn’t share well around other pets.

She absolutely adores children. She grew up with kids and is currently fostered with a toddler. She loves having kids to follow around and play with. She has done well with other dogs but doesn’t share toys or food well. She is fine about sharing with people. She loves to play with other dogs. She has never been around cats so we are not sure how she would do but she has lived with chickens and did great.

Tilia has typical lab energy. She’s excitable and needs lots of playtime but is cuddly when she’s tired. She loves to play fetch, tug a war, and explore outside. She’s goofy. She knows her basic commands and knows a few tricks like “spin” for a treat.

She does bark at new people from excitement but isn’t aggressive. She’s best on a fish based diet to help her skin not get to itchy. She can be good on the leash but was leashed trained by a trainer using a prong style collar. She pulls a lot and is very strong if using a standard collar. This will just require some additional training and practice.

Tilia can easily scale a shorter fence. She makes no effort to do so if you’re out in the yard with her but may try to if you leave her out alone as she wants to come find you.

Overall she’s a wonderful dog for a fun loving family and she adores children. A really great addition to most families.

Vet and home checks required.

Located in Hampton VA.
(She will need to be adopted within a 1 hour drive radius)
