Titan

MEET TITAN!!!

This giant boy is looking for a new family. Don’t let his size or looks scare you!! He is a huge sweetheart. A big baby of a dog that adores people.

Titan came to us when his owner sadly passed away. He’s been so loving and sweet since arriving here. He loves butt rubs and being talked to like a baby lol.

He is a 4 year old, male Olde English Bulldogge (you may have to look it up, they aren’t very common) He currently weighs 124 pounds. He is overweight and needs to lose some pounds.

Titan will be neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped as part of his adoption. He is heartworm negative. He does have a minor skin issue on the back of his neck that has been treated and just needs time to heal.

This guy is a giant boy but such a big baby. He wants nothing more than to hang out with you and leave some slobber behind to remember him by. He’s been extremely sweet and loving to all people he’s met. He looks big and scary but aside from that he’s not much of a guard dog. He wants pets and loving from everyone.

Titan has done so well with his basic house manners. He’s been great with his potty training. He rides good in the car but needs help getting in. He isn’t very good at jumping and even a shorter fence easily contains him. He is crate trained but makes you shove him in there. He was previously left uncrated in the home and we are told he didn’t not destroy anything. He does okay with leash walking but is very strong and needs a bit of training with not pulling.

He has been around other dogs. He loves small dogs. He is so cute with them. His best friend in his foster home is a shy little beagle mix that he has made it his mission to cuddle and follow around. We aren’t sure if it’s him being bratty or a big baby but he will growl and snap at dogs that get up into his face. He hasn’t done anything beyond that but a dog not prone to that behavior would be best for him. He’s great with other dogs that mind their own business and are laid back. He’s never been around cats but we think he might do okay with them.

Titan wasn’t raised in a home with kids but has loved every kid he’s met so far. He is a very big boy and thinks he’s a lap dog so he may unintentionally squish or knock over tiny kids.

So far he has a fairly low energy level. He has spurts of energy and excitement but they are short lived. Due to his bulldog face he does not tolerate heat well or excessive exercise. Extra care should always be taken with these breeds. He should never be left outside alone due to overheating risks.

He hasn’t had any trouble so far sharing toys or treats with other dogs or people. We feed him separately to help with his diet goals so we aren’t sure how he would do eating with others.

Titan is a big boy and needs his new family to help him lose some weight. He’s also a slobbery guy so you’ll need to be tolerant of that. He can’t help it with those droopy jowls.

He really is one of the sweetest big boys we’ve met. A real people lover. Fairly low key and easy to manage. If you’re in to big dogs then he may be the one.
