Meet Dessi!!
Loving lady looking for a home to love her the way she deserves!
She was abandoned by her owner with several other pets. Luckily someone stepped in and got her to us so she could start her new life.
Dessi is an 8 year old, female, Cocker Spaniel. She weighs 35 pounds but needs a family that can help her slim down a bit.
She will be spayed, microchipped and up to date on shots as part of her adoption.
**She will also be freshly groomed.
She is definitely a lap dog! She’s good with other dogs and cats and we believe will be fine with children. She has a very calm gentle personality. She really enjoys being with her people and would prefer someone who’s home often.
Dessi is pretty lazy overall and enjoys getting to lay around with her family. She walks well on a leash and appears to be house trained. She knows how to sit and comes when shes called. She also rides very well in the car.
She has some thinning hair on her back from a previous flea issues, it is healed now but the fur is still regrowing. She will need to be kept on flea prevention medication to prevent this in the future. She has also had issues with ear infections, although she does not have one now. These are common for cocker spaniels.
Please research the breeds health and grooming needs before applying.
Dessi is a great girl and is ready to settle into her forever home.
