She fought her way back from almost dying and is now happy, healthy and looking for her new home!
Lakota or “Kota” is a female Beagle or hound mix. She is approx. 6 years old and weights around 22-30 pounds.
She is up to date on shots and will be spayed prior to adoption. She is also heartworm free and has been on monthly prevention.
Lakota has done well with potty training. It does take her a bit to adjust to a new schedule but she understands the concept. She is crate trained and will easily go in on command. She is good on a leash and does best in a harness. She also does well on car rides and enjoys looking out the window.
She has been great with other dogs and has also been good with kids. She has not been around cats.
Lakota is very calm and relaxed. She also loves to play. She has a well-balanced energy level.
She absolutely loves to lay on a pile of blankets or pillows. If you have treats she is your best friend. Her main goal in life seems to be cuddling with her people. She is crate trained but was not destructive when left out alone in the home.
Vet and home checks required. Rehoming fee $150 (to help cover her spay)
